Promoting Wildlife-Human Coexistence

In 2023, SAFFACC in partnership with Total Landcare, and Zambia Community Resource Board Association, co-designed a project to scale-up Human-wildlife Co-habitation Measures in the Malawi-Zambia Transfrontier Conservation Area (MAZA TFCA). This project will contribute to the mitigation of Human-Wildlife Conflicts, and thereby the well-being of the affected communities, in terms of food security, and biodiversity conservation, through the promotion of co-existence of the communities and dispersing wildlife in the MAZA TFCA.
